Travelodge Hotels

On behalf of our Danish investors we have completed a deal consisting of 2 well-located Travelodge hotels in the London area. The total volume of the deal was £ 69 000 000 and was, at the time of completion, the biggest K/S deal ever completed. Travelodge is one of the fastest growing hotel chains in the UK, and the hotels all have prime locations in the cities where they are represented. Travelodge is most likely the most pro-active and innovative budget hotel chain in the world and this deal was a big success for both our client and the vendor.

  

Wetherspoons Portfolio, UK.

A portfolio consisting of Wetherspoon pubs all over Britain. There are more than 640 Wetherspoon pubs all over the country, and JD Wetherspoon is one of the fastest growing businesses in Europe. By the Credit Examination Company Dun & Bradsted, JD Wetherspoon has the absolutely best 5A1 site class, which represents minimal risk. 2004 this portfolio of 26 pubs was sold to two Danish investors.

 

House of Fraser, Wolverhampton. UK

In co-operation with GVA Grimley in London we sold a very large department store on a new 35 year lease contract to House of Fraser Plc, which represents a very strong tenant. The well-located department store includes a 370 space car park and compromises more than 275,000 square feet.

 

Accor Hotels - Hull, London, Milton Keynes

Griffin Ejendomme A/S is one of Denmark's largest and best established Commercial Real Estate Investment Companies. They have bought properties in the UK, as wll as in several other European countries since 1993. GVA Nybolig Erhverv in cooperation with GVA Grimley Ltd. sourced down this invest opportunity for Griffin Ejendomme A/S. The purchae of the 3 hotles excanged and completed in December 2007/January 2008. GVA Nybolig Erhverv in cooperation with GVA Grimley Ltd. provided agent consultancy work as well as consultancy on funding and adminstration/management support.
